If you have any queries before enrolling in terms of whether this course suits your particular needs, then please contact us either via email or phone before enrolling (details at bottom of page). Finally, we supply a book that explains the fundamental ideas and practices of meditation, and how to cultivate mental stillness and relaxation that form the basis of mental clarity and awareness.
What to Bring
A pen to write with if you like to make notes. Practices are normally performed sitting on chairs (although a few are done in the standing position). However, your are welcome to bring cushions or a yoga mat if you normally prefer sitting on the floor or sitting in chairs for long periods is difficult for you. In winter, it is wise to wear warm clothing or bring a blanket if you especially feel the cold. The hall has aircon, but it is not easy to set it to everyone’s level of comfort. Please let us know if you wish to purchase a CD practice pack ($10) at the door. However, as mentioned above, there are free on-line guided practices in our Resources – Downloads menu option page.
