Guided Mindfulness Meditation Practices (MP3s)

Below are number of different meditation practices and resources you can play for free. Eric Harrison of Perth Meditation Centre has kindly allowed us to use his How to Meditate CDs to asssit with developing your mindfulness practice. These basic meditation tracks are great for beginners starting out and wishing to establish a basic understading and practice in non-religious mindfulness meditation. Some of these tracks will be used as formal building block practices in our Foundation in Mindfulness Course. For more of Eric’s excellent range of free guided mindfulness and meditation practices go to https://www.perthmeditationcentre.com.au/mp3s/ and see his book The Foundations of Mindfulness.

Additional Mindfulness Meditation Practice Resources

In the Foundation in Mindfulness Course and some of our other mindfulness programs, we also explore formal and informal mindfulness practices based on the work of some of the key international mindfulness developers – namely, Jon Kabat Zinn (MBSR) and Professor Mark Williams (MBCT) of Oxford University. In particular, Professor Williams book Mindfulness: A practical guide to finding peace in a frantic world is a best selling mindfulness book for beginners. This book with free CD (or Ebook) can be purchased online quite cheaply at www.bookdepository.com as well as at some local specialty booksellers (e.g., The Bodhi Tree, Mt Hawthorn). It is an excellent resource that you may wish to purchase at some stage, although some of the practices can be listened to for free online by following this web link to franticworld.com/free-meditations-from-mindfulness/.

Below are some downloadable information sheets and links that explain some of the additional mindfulness practices you may wish to practice. For example, information on how to practice a 3-minute breathing space. Over time we will add further resources you can download.
